Hi, I thought I would post an introduction in response to the big "reveal" over at ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) pimp_my_3some where I used the pseudonym ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) jocelindwadcock.
...just in case anyone was wondering who in the heck I am.
I have been reading HP slash and fanfic for years now; unfortunately, I made my start as a lurker and I am fairly new to writing fanfic, so there isn't much paper trail about me, so to speak.
All I can claim is a longish one-shot, a couple drabbles, and one het PWP that was a bday gift and not my best writing. You can find all of them in my journal, or at least a link to them. I hope to someday soon write more, RL willing. I have tons of short story rough drafts that I have never posted, and through practice and improvement, now know better than to post (as is).
I'm currently in grad school so RL has been keeping me insanely busy lately. I want to thank everyone who took the time to review my story -- you alternately made me squeal, blush, and suffer from some sort of smiling disorder. I will respond to your comments soon...I promise!
I again want to thank our lovely mods Sansa and Siren for conceiving of and hosting this fest. It was incredibly rewarding for me to interact anonymously with so many interesting authors. And even though I am completely behind in reading the stories, I look forward to doing so.
Lastly, I want to thank klynie1...who agreed to beta for me out of the goodness of her heart without knowing who I was, or what kind of monstrosity I might send her way. Klynie, thank you so much for your insight, dedication, and for bolstering me when I didn't know what the hell I was doing. *hugs*

I can’t tell you how difficult it was not only to write het (bleh), but to not hit on any of your squicks, like fisting, which the original (better) story had. This is a complete rewrite from Hermione’s POV. I’m still working on altering the original from Snape’s POV and it’s much dirtier. If this Snape seems less intense/forceful/mean, that’s because the nasty, sexy, dirty one I love so much insists upon only fucking Harry. Sorry, I tried.

My first story has been posted on the Dawn til Dusk page under Wave X. I'm proud of myself for finishing, but I wouldn't mind reworking a few plot aspects if I ever find a beta.

I got my first comment today...I'm sure it really helps if you tell people about your livejournal, but I've been too concerned about finishing my story to worry about that yet. Why send people to my livejournal if I don't have interesting content to keep them?
Anyway, my very first comment was someone pretending to be "Dr. Phil" and warning me about homosexuals from the bible, blah blah blah and, of course, inviting me and my transvestite "sister" to be on the show. I wonder that the world isn't quite ready to know about how real, heterosexual women like to read and write slash.
Well, at least it's not difficult to figure out how to delete comments. I wonder how often this crap happens to other livejournal users.

My sister wrote me a crack!fic with the prompt "a plague-like curse is sweeping through a war torn hogwarts. Through an accident, snape discovers that lots and lots of sex is the cure." She didn't quite deliver on all that, but there's a plague and sex and Snape. She also insisted upon the inclusion "assfart" and "bunghole." Don't ask.
She's never posted fanfic before, so I'm putting it here.

I've been reading Harry Potter fanfic on livejournal for months now, and I think it is finally time for me to have my own account (even if I'm not sure how to do anything, like link posts).
Mostly I will use this journal to post recommendations, although I sincerely doubt anyone is reading it. Most will be slash, some will be gen, with an occasional het.
Currently, I am working on my first story ever, and it also happens to be for the Dusk to Dawn Harry/Snape FuhQ Fest Wave X challenge. The deadline is Jan 20th, and I assure you, it is no where near done. And it's only estimated at 5,000 words total. That really shouldn't take long.
...but oh does it ever.
